England vs Pakistan Only T20I Preview:

All the teams are preparing for the Cricket World Cup 2019 which is going to be held in England and Wales  between 30th May to 14 July. Pakistan is the first team to depart to the England for he world cup because they have to play a T20 and 5 One-Day Internationals against the World Cup hosts England.

Pakistan have already played three practice matches against different county teams recently, and have won all of them. England played a One-Day game against Ireland on Friday,on which they got a crucial victory with 4 wickets remaining.England haven’t got their best side.Alex Hales  has left cricket for sometime due to a personal issue.So there are questions that he will get the spot left by Hales.In Pakistani side, Amir will try to give his best to get in the Final 15 of Pakistan.So,this match is really important for both sides.


Jofra Archer debuted for England on Friday against Ireland. He got one wicket on his Debut.He has got a great experience of T20s playing cricket leagues around the world.So Archer needs to be selected if England are interested to test him for the Mega Event.Philip Salt has been called  who has been playing for Sussex because Malan has a muscle injury and cannot play the mach.If England select Vince, he will have to prove himself as he managed to score just 18 runs against Ireland.Ben Duckett has also been called and he will be hoping for his T20 debut today.

Pakistani batting has been really impressive in the tour matches. All-rounder Imad Wasim  hit a century in first practice one-day game batting at no.7. Babar Azam hit his maiden T20 century in the practice game. Opener Fakhar scored a century too and Imam has also been in form. Middle order batting guns of Pakistan Hafeez and Malik will be missing the match because Hafeez has not recovered fully from his injury while Malik has left England for 10 days due to a personal issue, so Haris will probably be selected. Asif Ali also has to prove his hard-hitting if he wants to get into final squad.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Weather: Weather  in Cardiff  will  be  partially cloudy, so there is a bit chance of rain. Pakistan have played some games here, so cold weather might not affect them.

Today was the beginning of cricket world cup 2019 in England and wales. First match was played between South Africa and Host England. It was played at historic cricket ground of Oval in London. Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to field against England.It was a fair sunny weather and the pitch was tough for batting as root said after the innings. Imran Tahir took the wicket of Jonny Bairstow on the second ball. Roy and Root stayed on the wicket for sometime as they stood over hundred runs partnership. Root scored 51 off 59 balls while Roy scored 54 runs on 53 balls. Morgan and stokes also played really well and scored another hundred runs partnership.
