Pakistan Cricket World Cup 2019 Squad- Good and Bad Eggs:


Batting Eggs:

Fakhar Zaman:
One of the most talented batsmen in the Pakistan team with an average of over 54 in 33 ODI matches. He is game changer. He is the only Pakistani batsman to score double hundred. His record in England is phenomenal and he can prove lethal to the opposition. He has 4 hundred and 9 fifties excluding one double hundred against Zimbabwe.
Babar Azam:
He is one of the most talented player Pakistan has got in this squad. He has average of over 50 in 61 games. Strike rate is his problem which is quite important in this age of cricket. His strike rate is under 85. He has 8 hundred and 11 fifties in his career. If he gets going on a given day, he can help his team win the game.
Imam-Ul-Haq:
He is another young gun of his team who has proved himself after so much hard work. His average of 53 speaks for himself. He has 5 hundred in his ODI career of 26 matches. His strike rate is not so good as it is under 80. Strike rate is equally important in this age because cricket has become so fast.
Abid Ali:
He only played two ODI games with highest score of 112. It is very good opportunity for youngster like him to enjoy the big event and make his name shine along with his country. It is good to experience big event surrounded by experienced players.








Bowling Eggs


Shaheen Afridi:
Shaheen is new talented bowler found in the Pakistan Premier league. He played 12 ODI matches and took 20 ODI wickets. His bowling average is 22.4. best bowling figures are 4/38. His economy is under 6 which is very important in this era of ODI cricket. His pace could help his team in the world cup international games.
Junaid Khan:
He is left arm pacer who took 108 wickets in 74 ODI matches. His best bowling figure is 4/12 and economy of 5.28 which could help Pakistan restrict the opponents on low scores. He is very good bowler in death overs and could be utilized in final overs. Muhammad Amir is not selected in the squad so if amir remained unselected, he will have to work hard and prove his selection right.

 Hasan Ali
Very good fast bowler found in recent years. He was one of the best ODI bowler in champions trophy 2017 which was also played in England. His bowling record is fantastic. He took 78 wickets in 46 matches with the average of 24.91. his best bowling figure is 5/34.
Muhammad Hasnain:
He played just 3 ODI games and could manage to take 2 wickets. He is another young addition in the team with very few ODI match exposure. He will have the opportunity to experience the great event at such young age. This experience will help him in his coming ODI career.

All round Eggs:

Shadab Khan:
Shadab has proved himself a great ODI all-rounder. He helps his team both with the bat and ball. His batting average of 29 and 3 ODI fifties in just 34 matches is good enough to get him in the squad. It is not only his batting which bring him to England for this great event. His bowling figures show 47 wickets with the average of 27 and economy of 4.81. he is big gun for Pakistan in spin attack.
Shoaib Malik:
Most experienced player of the tournament who despite of ups and downs in his ODI career always manages to get himself within the team in big events. His experience will help other young players and the captain. His batting average is 35 and he scored 7000+ ODI runs in 282 matches. He also took 156 wickets in his career with the economy of 4.66 and bowling average of 39. This player should help the team in the time of need and his presence will boost the overall confidence level of the team.
Muhammad Hafeez:
Another experienced ODI player who played 208 ODI games and hit 11 hundreds and 36 fifties. His batting average is 32. His strike rate is not much impressive with just above 75. Due to restrictions he cannot unfortunately bowl for his country. His action was considered illegal and was banned to bowl in International cricket.
Haris Sohail:
He is very good ODI batsman. His batting average is 47 in his 33 matches. His ODI career include 2 hundred and 10 fifties. Strike rate of impressive 82+. He also took 11 wickets in his ODI career with best bowling figure of 3/45.   
Imad Waseem:
 He played 43 ODI matches and scored with the average of 45 and strike rate of 105 his figures look amazing. He also took 33 wickets in his ODI career and best bowling figure of 5/14 and economy of 4.69. he proved very good opening bowler too.
Faheem Ashraf:
He took 19 wickets in his ODI career of 22 matches with the bowling average of 35 and economy of 4.73. he can also bat although he could not show his class in the batting so far. His batting average is 12 and strike rate of 80 which makes him not a good choice when it comes to batting.

Wicket Keeping Eggs

Sarfaraz Ahmed:
He is leading the team and he played 103 ODI games and batting average of 33 and strike rate of 86. Although he could prove very good for his team on certain events but he failed to prove as match winner. He came Not Out few times leaving his team defeated very closely.
