England Vs Pakistan 3rd ODI 15th May, 2019 Match Highlights Today

Pakistan lost another game from England despite a great show from opening batsman Imam. England put Pakistan to bat after winning the toss. Pakistani opener remained calm initially when wickets were tumbling on the other end. Fakhar could only score 2 runs when root took his catch on the ball of Woakes.  Babar also could not play quite well and went to the pavilion after scoring just 15 runs. Haris sohail and Sarafaraz Ahmed scored 41 and 27 respectively. Asif Ali scored impressive and quick fifty. Till this time opening batsman Imam was on the crease. he finished his ODI hundred and started smashing boundaries and Maximums. He scored 151 on 131 balls and Pakistan finish their innings on 158 FOW 9 in 50 overs


This score was looking quite good to Pakistan but English openers played aggressively from the start and put the pressure back on Pakistani bowlers.First english wicket fell on 159 when Roy got out on 75 by Faheem. Root scored 43 and Imad took his wicket while Babar caught him. Stokes was run out by afridi on 37. Bairstow played explosive innings of 128 on 93 balls and lead his team to victory.
Ali and Morgan were undefeated on 46 and 17 respectively when England chased the score in 45th over. Pakistani bowling was not any good at all as all of the bowler's economy was over 6.
England now lead the series by 2-0. Pakistan can now only level the series only if they win remaining two games which is highly unlikely.

Today was the beginning of cricket world cup 2019 in England and wales. First match was played between South Africa and Host England. It was played at historic cricket ground of Oval in London. Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to field against England.It was a fair sunny weather and the pitch was tough for batting as root said after the innings. Imran Tahir took the wicket of Jonny Bairstow on the second ball. Roy and Root stayed on the wicket for sometime as they stood over hundred runs partnership.
