Kent Vs Pakistan Tour Match 27 april, 2019

This was the first tour match between Pakistan team and Kent county club at their home ground. It is first game of Pakistan on their tour to England in 2019 before they join Cricket world cup.
Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first and it was proved right by Pakistan team as they batted really well after so long.


opening partnership of 92 was very good to give down order batsmen a good start. Imam was first man to go on 39 runs. Babar could not score much and went shortly after that. Fakhar Zaman played impressive innings facing 59 balls and he scored 76 runs.

Haris Sohail and Imad Wasim stood another partnership of nearly 150 runs. Imad scored a century whereas Haris scored 75 runs.
Pakistan posted 258 on the scoreboard in 50 overs and Imad remained Not Out. Imran Qayyum took 4 wickets from Kent.
Opening pair of Kent fell too early , Robinson and Blake stood a partnership which lead the team to reach 100. Hasan Ali took wicket of both of these players.
Robinson scored 49 whereas Blake scored 89 runs with the help of 6 fours and 6 sixes. there was no other significant innings in the Kent's Innings.
Yasir Shah took 3 wickets for Pakistan whereas Hasan ali, Faheem Ashraf and Fakhar Zaman took 2 wickets each. Kent team was all out on 258 in 45th over and thus Pakistan won the match by 100 runs.

Today was the beginning of cricket world cup 2019 in England and wales. First match was played between South Africa and Host England. It was played at historic cricket ground of Oval in London. Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to field against England.It was a fair sunny weather and the pitch was tough for batting as root said after the innings. Imran Tahir took the wicket of Jonny Bairstow on the second ball. Roy and Root stayed on the wicket for sometime as they stood over hundred runs partnership. Root scored 51 off 59 balls while Roy scored 54 runs on 53 balls. Morgan and stokes also played really well and scored another hundred runs partnership.
