International Cricket leagues- the future of cricket

The game of cricket was know as the gentlemen's game as all the players used be gentle and the way it was played. it was pleasure to watch the cricket from 60's until 90's.
there was more of test cricket than any other like One day international. Imagine sitting in summer in lords in the sunshine with shorts on and a glass of beer in hand and watching a game between England and Australia. It really was fun and people used to go to watch test cricket as they spend time out and enjoy fantastic game too.

Then came the age of T20's which is very fast format of cricket and made this gentlemen's game very fast. This dramatic change was needed because of change in the way people spend time around and with the advancement of technology and other things, it has made everything very fast.
Main aim behind bringing this game into international cricket was to make it popular like football. as football game usually lasts for around 1.5 to 2 hours and people get to enjoy this more due to short period of time. Cricket planning think tanks thought if we shorten the time of cricket our game might get popular like football.
Thing is people do not watch football just because it has 90 minutes in it but because they are crazy about this game. they played this game since childhood and watched their parents play. it was because of the culture and surroundings.
Cricket was too famous in Sub continent and still is very popular. India in particular is cricket crazy nation, this is not because they want to sit and watch cricket all day long, but it was again because of culture and as they grew up watching their elders watch this game and play it around. it creates the interest and enhances it further when the circumstances remain the same.
Some people have the arguments that T20 cricket has spoiled and demolished the real taste of cricket. people no longer watch 5 day long test cricket just because the introduction of this fast cricket type.
Some even suggested to change the test cricket too and reduce its days to 4. it will be totally insane as 4 days are not at all sufficient enough to play 2 innings of cricket. Cricket pitches sometimes change their condition on final 5th day of cricket.
As soon as this issue of reducing the test cricket day to 4 is raised, experts said we are again moving in the same direction of making everything fast. we should keep the test cricket the was it is.
International cricket leagues have sparked this fire as businessmen shown their interest in cricket. Almost every cricket nation now has their own cricket league. all of these leagues are T20. there used to be only English county which was not T20 and people enjoyed more. Spectators used to enjoy the classy cricket when expert batsmen leaves a dangerous delivery just to save his wicket.
Test cricket test not only sports skills but also emotional skills along with players temperament. when one players stay on crease for two days it polishes his skills as batsmen.
Bowlers stamina emotions and temperament is also tested when he keeps bowling at 150 KM/hour for two hours and on the other end batsmen leaves the delivery smoothly.
Sledging was also one flavor of cricket which audience used to enjoy a lot. with the sledging of the players on the ground , sledging among fans in the crowd was often noted. as every body has their emotional attachment and patriotism to their country.
T20 leagues have made cricket a lucrative business and every year amount is spent in billions of cricket. businessmen and players enjoys a lot as they both make the money but the future of cricket becomes dark with every coming year and with every next league match.
Recent introduction of T10 league is another strong evidence of the point i am raising here. We simply cannot let time decide the future of cricket and we should keep this game a game of Gentlemen.
